Oceanographic Buoy Maintenance Technician
Do you have experience installing oceanographic systems and solid knowledge of electronics?
We are looking for talent to lead the commissioning, maintenance, and technical support of our oceanographic buoys. You will join a key project contributing to the technological and operational advancement of our organization.
Your Mission
You will be in charge of the installation and maintenance of oceano-meteorological buoys, as well as the design and manufacture of custom electronic equipment. Additionally, you will apply your programming skills to develop tailored technological solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning, installation, and maintenance of oceanographic buoys in maritime environments.
- Development and integration of electronic equipment and oceanographic sensors.
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting of technical issues in marine monitoring systems.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics & Automation, Telecommunications, or Mechatronics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic design tools, programming software, and data acquisition systems.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in the installation and maintenance of oceanographic systems or electronic equipment.
- Complementary maritime training.
- Knowledge of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and manufacturing.
- Cross-functional knowledge in networks, mechanics, or IT.

Marine Environment Consultant Technician
Are you looking to develop your career in marine and coastal projects?
We are looking for a proactive person to join our consulting team. We offer an environment where you will learn every day, face diverse technical challenges, and have access to the necessary tools for your professional growth.
Your Mission
You will execute environmental work related to the marine, port, and coastal environments. Your role will cover everything from data collection in the field and laboratory to desktop analysis and technical reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Fieldwork: Execution of sampling campaigns (water, sediments, and marine organisms) and measurement of ecological variables from vessels or via diving.
- Laboratory: Taxonomic analysis of marine samples and analysis of biological descriptors (seagrass/phanerogams).
- Desktop Study: Data processing, statistical assessment of results, and drafting of technical reports.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Sciences, Oceanography, Marine Biology, Hydrography, or similar field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS), statistical packages (Matlab, R, Statgraphics, Primer), and hydrographic software (Hypack).
- Experience in writing result reports.
Nice to Have
- Maritime Competencies: Professional Diving, Professional Skipper, Seamanship certifications, etc.
- Demonstrable experience in fieldwork in the marine environment and from vessels.
